I’m a designer…
…and everything around me is my canvas. I love decorating my home so that every view from every angle is picture perfect. I constantly tinker with my beloved Mini Cooper so it reflects both it’s rich and storied history combined with my own personal aesthetics. I accessorize my Gary Fisher Kaitai and Masi Evoluzione Apex meticulously so they are amazing both in motion and leaning against a wall. But that’s not all…
I also love to build.
I thrive on not only bringing beauty based in function and order, but rolling up my sleeves and building the darn thing. It must have been the Legos. Since 1980, I have had a rather (un)healthy obsession with larger scale Lego models that now adorn my home office. To me, the combination of rods, gears, colorful bricks, and angled tension pins produce works of art that not only help fuel my creativity day and night, but satisfy my drive to bring concepts to life.
Ultimately, all of these passions (plus artsy mom and engineer dad) drove me to this wonderful world of interactive design and development, starting way back when not many would consider it a full time job, much less a career. To me, there is a certain joy in taking concepts on paper napkins, working through the architecture and user interface challenges, iterating though the visual design phase, and building it to show the world, on any device they choose. It’s my hope that you sense that joy in the work you see on this site.
